Our wedding photographer was one of my best friends who had been trying to convince me to shoot weddings. After my own wedding, I was sold!
2015: Alex and I got married! I found a new love for weddings.
I worked a 9-5 during the week, and held mini sessions on Saturdays. Grads, couples, families, dogs - you name it, I photographed it!
2013: After college graduation, I started a photography side hustle.
I had been talking and talking about wanting a "real" camera, but I couldn't afford one. Alex couldn't either, but he made a way. It was then that I knew he was a keeper!
2010: While we were in college, my boyfriend (now husband!) got me a camera for Christmas.
My Photography Timeline:
Post-pandemic I've been fortunate to see my business grow to new heights! Last year I went full-time in my business, and this year I welcomed an associate!
Today: The best is yet to come...
Photography comes easy to me, but marketing and running a business have definitely been a challenge! While at home, I took courses an developed my brand.
2020: During the pandemic, I became a better business owner.
Diving into wedding photography felt natural. All of the skills I had developed so far translated easily. Getting to do this for my sister and her fella made it extra sweet!
2016: I photographed my first wedding - it was my little sister's!
I serve with my whole heart. As your wedding photographer, my hope is that your experience with me adds to your beautiful day – but doesn't distract from it.
If you love candid moments, intentional details, and natural scenery, I'm confident that you'll be overjoyed with what we can create together. (And if you're excited about me showing up on wedding day with chicken minis for your whole wedding party, why are we not friends already?!)
